Includes descriptions of whales and walrus seen or taken, a death at sea, fights, punishment, and shipboard medicine. Also contains a pencil drawing of a ship, accounts, inventories of whale oil and bone, poems, and an obituary of Captain Manter. The keeper notes that the Mate had a fight with 2 of the crew.
